Matt Cassel is still healing from an emergency apendectomy a few weeks ago. The Chiefs won't expose him to too many big hits by making him drop back a lot. So expect a heavy dose of the Chiefs ground game. On the other side of the ball, the Titans offense simply isn't built for bad weather; and it will be bad in KC this weekend.

WEEK 15 - MNF

Bears/Vikings(H) 1st HALF O/U @ 17

We all know about this game being played outdoors at the University of Minnesota stadium. Will that be a factor in keeping this a low-scoring game? Maybe. However I think rookie QB Jeff Webb making his first career start for the Vikings is a bigger deal. I'm playing just the first half O/U as I expect both offenses to play it conservatively while they adjust to the unfamiliar environment, and for the Minnesota play-calling to be limited while they let Webb's butterflies settle.

WEEK 15

49ers/Chargers(H) 1st HALF O/U @ 23

I don't expect the Chargers blowout to take shape until the second half.

Jaguars +4.5 Colts (H)

This is a year where the Jags are finding strange ways to win, while the Colts are finding strange ways to lose.

Jets/Steelers(H) O/U @ 36

Yes, defense will dominate this game — so much so that I expect at least one defensive TD and possibly a special teams TD to push this total 'over'.

Eagles +3 Giants (H)

DeVoodoo's pick: Giants

The Giants have all the right pieces to compete with the Eagles. Chief among them: 1) A bruising running game that will push around a speedy but soft Philly defense. 2) A fast defensive front seven that can contain Vick.

The Cowboys can keep the late season good vibes rolling with a seemingly easy win against a Redskins team in total disarray.

Lions +5.5 Buccaneers (H)

Injuries (and arrests) are mounting for the Bucs. Look for the Lions to string together a rare two-game win streak in South Florida on Sunday.

Texans/Titans(H) O/U @ 47

The Titans only hope is a close, low-scoring game. Given the home field advantage, I suspect they'll keep this game close enough to fly in under 47 points.

The Raiders are still in the playoff picture. The Broncos have the worst defense in the NFL, and uncertainty over who will start at QB.

Bengals +8.5 Steelers (H)

I'm banking an emotional let down from the Steelers after Monday night's brawl with the Ravens.

Chiefs/Chargers(H) O/U @ 47

Reports are stirring that Chiefs QB Matt Cassel might not play. Even if he does, 47 points is too tempting to go low.

Eagles/Cowboys(H) O/U @ 50.5

I'll bet the 'under' at 50.5 on any game featuring Jon Kitna at quarterback.

Last Monday night's aforementioned game left the Ravens feeling terribly angry. That anger's gotta vent somewhere. I think it will be vented in Texas.

Last minute pick here because reports indicate the playing field is an absolute mess in Tampa Bay. Uconn played South Florida last night at Raymond James Stadium and apparently wrecked the turf. There just isn't enough time to get the field fixed.

This should be a high-scoring game. The safest 'over' bet might be the measly 10 first half points the Texans need to reach.

The Falcons are oh so close to securing their division, and they're on track for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. They know they can't stumble on the road against a decent, but overachieving Bucs team.

Yep. Still betting against Garrett. It's gotta pay off some time, right?

Steelers +3 Ravens (H)

The Steelers have struggled to win of late. The Ravens appear to have settled into a late season groove.
